• Most mountain custom homes will require a water well while city building you typically tap into city water.
• Most mountain custom homes will require an engineered septic system while in the city you typically tap into their sewer.
• Most mountain custom homes will require propane gas while city building you typically tap into the existing gas utilities.
• Most mountain custom homes have a longer driveway while in the city they are typically very short.
• Mountain custom homes typically have higher R-value requirements than city as well as higher wind speed and snow load requirements which requires the right engineers and building plans.
