Finishing a basement can be a tricky endeavor. Anytime contractors were given the freedom to run plumbing, gas lines, duct work and power without the constraint of knowing the basement would be finished - there could be challenges ahead! Or maybe you have a structural posts stood up exactly where you envision your shower? There are countless scenarios that could arise well beyond even these - but never fear - we can do that!

• Considerations When Finishing A Basement
• How many bedrooms would you like to add? In mountain building you typically have a septic system so you need to make sure the existing system can support the added space.
• Do you envision a bathroom or two? Is there already sewer line run? If so, is it in the right place? Tieing in sewer lines can be a big job and is not to be overlooked.
• How much power are you going to need? Are you looking to bring a 220V line down? Will your existing panel support the new load? This can be another gotcha if overlooked.
